Movement Therapy for Hypermobility
Registration is required at least 48hours prior to a scheduled class.
Our movement therapy classes for hypermobility focus on isolated to integrated patterns to improve management of joints as well as whole body function.
- Classes are held virtually at 12:00PM EST (Toronto) and run for 60minutes
All hypermobility related classes will be taught by Fréyja Spence and the techniques applied will require no equipment beyond a small towel and mat for comfort. The intention of these classes is to help reduce the felt sense of chronic tension commonly associated with hypermobility while also increasing a general sense of stability.
Due to the nature of this being a group class, it is recommended that you are able to tolerate an upright posture (seated or standing or both), do not have acute unresolved subluxations or dislocations, and have the capacity to walk for at least 5 minutes.
Attending live will allow you to interact with Fréyja and others and partake in a 10 minute Q & A discussion on hypermobility topics at the end. Recordings of class can be made available to those who register in advance but are unable to attend on the day of. Please note that recordings will only capture the speaker and not the attendees.
Registration via this site closes 48hours prior to this class. If you are late to register, please contact us directly so we can get you set up if there is space!
